Leola Frances was born on October 3rd, 1916 in Darlington County, S.C..1 Leola Frances' father was Edwin Lee Gibson and her mother was Bessie Leola Blackmon. Her paternal grandparents were William Troy Gibson and Susan Sparrow. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Edwin Lee, William S. (Willie), Thomas M., Jack, Harry Joseph, Leland Wallace, Elizabeth and Jacqueline Louise. She died at the age of 48 on April 13th, 1965.1 -
