Fergus, established an Irish kingdom of Dalriada in Argyle, no w Scotland. Ruled (for three years ?) in succession to his broth er, Loarn, at an uncertain date 498-501?) He has sometimes bee n confused with Ercc, a son of Loarn's daughter.
