Edward the Elder

Edward the was born in 0875.¹ Edward the's father was Alfred the Great and his mother was Ealhswith. His paternal grandparents were Aethelwulf and Osburga; his maternal grandparents were Aethelred Earl Of Mercia and Eadburgh Of Mercia. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Edward The Elder and Alfthryth. He died at the age of 49 in 0924.¹
