Nicholas De VERDON 
Nicholas' father was Bertram De VERDON, Sheriff Of Leicester and his mother was Roesia Of Alveton Castle. His paternal grandparents were Norman De VERDON, Lord Of Weobley and Lanceline De CLINTON. He was an only child. He died in April 1232 in Alton, Co Stafford.1 General Notes
