Emma was born about 1065.1 Emma's father was Robert De MORTAIN, Count Of Mortain In Avranchi and her mother was Maud De MONTGOMERY. Her paternal grandparents were Herluin De CONTREVILLE and Herleve Of Falaise; her maternal grandparents were Roger De MONTGOMERY, Earl Of Shrewsbury and Mabel De Belesme. She was an only child.
