John Alford Dawson 
John Alford was born on January 8th, 1875.1 John Alford's father was Daniel Debolt Dawson and his mother was Sarah Jane Cochran. His paternal grandparents were Robert D Dawson and Elizabeth Reed. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert Doyne, Howard Debolt, Ruel Reed, Stewart Cochran, Cochran, Eva Myrtilla and Jennie Elder. He died at the age of 66 on July 2nd, 1941.1 General Notes

!Dairyman near New Middleton Ohio...ended up owning a farm near New
Castle PAA. That farm is now[1997] owned by one of his granddaughters
and her husband. They run a very large agribusiness with apples as thier
main crop. They sella dn process much of their apple crop and sell the
products to coops and stores as far away as NYC.
