Canaan was born in 3675 BC.1 Canaan's father was Enos (Yanish) and his mother was Noam. His paternal grandparents were Seth (Shith) and Meryet-Nit; his maternal grandparents were Seth (Shith) and Azûrâ. He had a brother and a sister, named Barâki'êl and Mûalêlêth. He died in 2765 BC.1
