Cynthia was born on August 22nd, 1829. Cynthia's father was Thomas Burris and her mother was Jane (Jean) Davis. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Burris and Sarah (Mary) Chamblee; her maternal grandparents were Evan (Vann) Davis and Susannah Lucy Cary. She was an only child. She died at the age of 70 on September 22nd, 1899. She was buried in Ruhamah Church Cemetary, Anderson Co., SC.-
