George M. Bigby 
George M. was born on September 17th, 1793 in Abbeville, South Carolina. George M.'s father was Archibald G. Bigby and his mother was Susannah Mattison. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Bigbie and Lydia Calvert; his maternal grandfather was Benjamin Mattison. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin Madison, Archibald, John, Thomas, Margaret Ann, Catherine and Susannah. He died at the age of 58 in 1851. He was buried in 1851 in Turner's Chapel Church, Honea Path, SC.-
