Narrative
Contributed 150 pounds of tobacco toward building a Quaker meeting house on 9 MAR 1700. Chosen "overseer" of Weyanoke Meeting in 1721. Served as a Quaker minister for 25 years at the Weyanoke Meeting House in Charles City Co., VA. Due to Quaker refusal to pay taxes, had seizure of a male slave & 300 pounds of tobacco on 3 DEC 1726.
