Minnie Agnes Dunivan Sims of Mineral, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999. She was a member of the Mineral Baptist Church. She was the widow of Alva Ray Sims. She is survived by two daughters, Pat S. Smith, and husband Jim Smith of Mineral, and Jenive S. Caviness, and husband, Ronnie Caviness of Richmond; one son, Charles C. Sims, and wife Carolyn H. Sims of Mineral; three grandsons, J.C. Carter Jr. and wife Pati Carter, Dean R. Carter, and Jeffrey Sims; a step-granddaughter, Debbie S. White, and husband Wayne White; three great-grandsons, Danny Sims, Brent Carter, and Derek Carter; one sister, Ethel Payton, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service Saturday, March 27, 3 p.m., at the Mineral Baptist Church, Mineral, Va. Interment at the church cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mineral Rescue Squad, or the Mineral Baptist Church Building Fund.
