George and Martha were married in a religious ceremony on August 14th, 1749. They had six sons and seven daughters, named Jesse Hughes, Francis, Robert, George, John, Thomas, Molly, Nancy Hughes, Patty, Doshia, Suckey, Temperance and Sally.
