Temperance Walton

Temperance was born on March 5th, 1769.¹   Temperance's father was George Walton and her mother was Martha Hughes.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Walton and Francis ?; her maternal grandparents were Robert Hughes and Martha ?. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Jesse Hughes, Francis, Robert, George, John, Thomas, Molly, Nancy Hughes, Patty, Doshia, Suckey and Sally.  She was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.
