‌Claiborne Lawson and Jane Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on October 16th, 1816.  They had six sons and two daughters, named Claiborne Matthews, John Claiborne, William C., John W., Eleazer, Hardy M. Cryer, Ann Elizabeth and Caroline Tabitha.
