Her paternal grandparents were Louis I de France and Judith von Bavaria; her maternal grandparents were Eudes de Orleans and Engeltrude de Paris. She had a brother and a sister, named Louis II of the Western Franks and Judith. She was the youngest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Roheut.-
