Henry William Frederick was born on March 31st, 1900 in York Cottage, Sandringham, Norfolk, England. Henry William Frederick's father was George V Windsor and his mother was Mary von Teck. His paternal grandparents were Edward VII Wettin and Alexandra Oldenburg; his maternal grandmother was Mary Adelaide of Cambridge. He had four brothers and a sister, named Edward VIII, George VI of England, George Edward Alexander, John Charles Francis and Victoria Alexandra Alice Mary. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 on June 10th, 1974 in Barnwell Manor, Northampton, England.-
