William was born on February 16th, 1762. William's father was Benjamin Waller and his mother was Martha Hall. His paternal grandparents were John Waller and Dorothy King. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Benjamin Carter, Francis, Robert Hall, Martha, Mary, Dorothea Elizabeth, Anne, Clara and Sarah.-
