Joseph Trotter 
Joseph was born in 1720 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Joseph's father was Joseph Trotter and his mother was Dinah Shelton. His paternal grandparents were William Trotter and Rebecca Trotter Theach. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Nathan, Spencer, James, Joseph, Rachel, Hannah, Mary and Rebecca. He was the oldest of the ten children.-
