Benjamin Randolph was born on September 6th, 1802. Benjamin Randolph's father was Celadon Symmes and his mother was Phebe FitzRandolph. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin FitzRandolph and Esther Woodruff. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William Cleves, Daniel Tuthill, John Cleves, (infant), Celadon, Joseph Randolph, (infant), Nancy Harrison, Esther Woodruff and Sarah D.. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
