Pleasant Statham 
Pleasant was born about 1772. Pleasant's father was John Statham and his mother was Susannah Thomson. His paternal grandparents were Love Statham and Martha Meriwether. He had six brothers and a sister, named William Dabney, John, Thomas Nathaniel, Robert, Jesse, Charles Andrew and Nancy. He was the third youngest of the eight children.
