Charity was born about 1779 in Hanover Co., VA. Charity's father was Solomon Stanley and her mother was Elizabeth ?. Her paternal grandparents were John Stanley and Edith Hutchins. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Anderson, John W., Unity and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the five children. She died before 1830 in Logan Co., KY.-
