Jacob Brown was born in 1814 in Nelson Co., VA. Jacob Brown's father was Abraham Bond Seay and his mother was Rosa Berriman Loving. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Seay and Elizabeth Tuggle Boyd; his maternal grandparents were George M. Loving and Mildred Beheathland Stevens. He had a brother and three sisters, named John Loving, Elizabeth Ann, Mildred and Naomi. He was the youngest of the five children. He died after 1880.-
