George Sandys 
George's father was Edwin Sandys and his mother was Cicely Wilford. His paternal grandparents were William Sandys and Margaret Dixon; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Wilford and Elizabeth Culpeper. He had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Edwyn and Anne.
