Sallie N. Ruffin 
Sallie N.'s father was Thomas Henry Ruffin and her mother was Anne McNabb Kirkland. Her paternal grandparents were Sterling Ruffin and Alice Roane. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Sterling, William Kirkland, George, John, Peter, Jane M., Alice, Annie, Catherine, Susan Mary, Elizabeth Margaret and Martha.
