Edmund Ruffin 
Edmund was born on January 5th, 1794.1 Edmund's father was George Ruffin and his mother was Rebecca Cocke. His paternal grandparents were Edmund Ruffin and Jane Skipwith. He had a brother and three sisters, named George, Elizabeth, Jane and Juliana. He died at the age of 71 on June 15th, 1865 in "Marlbourne", Hanover Co., VA. He was buried in "Marlbourne", Hanover Co., VA.1 2
