Thomas Mann was born on October 1st, 1778 in (alternate date 5/17/1768) "Tuckahoe", Goochland Co., VA.1 Thomas Mann's father was Thomas Mann Randolph and his mother was Anne Cary. His paternal grandparents were William Randolph and Maria Judith Page; his maternal grandparents were Archibald Cary and Mary Randolph. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Henry Cary, William, Archibald Cary, John, George Washington, Mary, Elizabeth, Judith, Ann Cary, Jane Cary, Harriet, Virginia and Mary Jane. He had a half-brother named Thomas Mann. He died at the age of 49 on June 20th, 1828 in "Monticello", Albemarle Co., VA.-
