John Preston Randolph 
John Preston was born in 1834 in Goochland Co., Virginia. John Preston's father was Thomas Randolph and his mother was Sarah Lee Hunter. His paternal grandparents were Jediah Randolph and Ann Jennings; his maternal grandparents were Austin Hunter and Mary ?. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Jediah, Thomas Jefferson, Fredrick Monroe, Mary Catherine, Ann Marian and Sally Carter. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died in Columbus, Ohio.-
