William Montfort Pryor 
William Montfort was born in June 1832. William Montfort's father was John Pryor and his mother was Mallinda Gurley. His paternal grandparents were John Henry Pryor and Elizabeth Stokes. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, John Henry, Milton Stokes, Nathaniel West, Green Berg, Eunice, Amilia, Margaret, Mary and Martha. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 21 in September 1853.-
