Andrew Poindexter 
Andrew was born on September 23rd, 1783. Andrew's father was Joseph Poindexter and his mother was Elizabeth James Kennerly. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Poindexter and Frances Bickley; his maternal grandparents were James Kennerly and Elizabeth Winston James. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named James, Samuel, John, William, Joseph, Richard, Thomas Kennerly, Reuben, Lewis, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the twelve children.-
