Margaret was born on August 15th, 1793. Margaret's father was Robert Pleasants and her mother was Elizabeth Randolph. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Pleasants and Mary Webster; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mann Randolph and Anne Cary. She had a brother and three sisters, named Robert Randolph, Elizabeth Randolph, Ann and Mary Webster.-
