Roxey Parrish 
Roxey was born in 1801. Roxey's father was Samuel Parrish and her mother was Jean Clarkson. Her paternal grandparents were Joel Parrish and Elizabeth Hill. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Parks H., Willis Redmond, Coason Washington, Samuel Powhatan, Elizabeth and Lorinda. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
