Audrey J. Parrish of Gum Springs, died July 19, 1999 in a Richmond hospital. She was born November 2, 1933 in Goochland County, daughter of the late Beauy Leake and Elizabeth Hughes Parrish. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James and a sister, Catherine. Survivors include one daughter, Debra Holland Lewis and her husband Mike of Kents Store; one brother, F. Bryan Parrish of Gum Springs; eight sisters, Alice Grandstaff, Bernice Perkins, and Susie Shelton, all of Gum Springs, Betty Lewis of Columbia, Doris Brooking of Goochland, Edith Seay of Montpelier, June Mayo and Joyce Burton, both of Manakin-Sabot; and three beloved grandchildren, Craig, Aaron and Tracey Lewis. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at the Forest Grove Christian Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Martin and Rev. Jim Thornton will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Sheridan Funeral Home, Kents Store, today from 3 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Forest Grove Christian Church Building Fund, 3881 Hadensville-Fife Rd., Goochland, Va. 23063.
