Aaron was born about 1744 in Goochland Co., Virginia.  Aaron's father was Humphrey Parrish and his mother was Mary Morton Hamilton.  His paternal grandparents were Humphrey Parrish and Mary ?. He had five brothers and a sister, named Humphrey, Joel, David, Moses, Booker and Ursula.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
