George Morton 
George was born in 1717 in Richmond Co., Virginia. George's father was John Morton and his mother was Mary Mountjoy. His paternal grandparents were John Morton and Joan ?; his maternal grandparents were Alvin Mountjoy and Mary Lane. He had a brother and two sisters, named Joseph, Mary and Frances. He was the second oldest of the four children.
