James McGehee

James was born in 1725.  James' father was James MackGehee and his mother was Rebecca Prewitt.  His paternal grandparents were William MackGehee and Mary Carr. He had six brothers named John, Thomas, Joseph, Benjamin, Carr and Nathaniel.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 71 in 1796.
