Peter was born in Chesterfield Co., VA. Peter's father was Thomas Jefferson and his mother was Mary Field. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson and Mary Branch; his maternal grandparents were Peter Field and Judith Soane. He had a brother and three sisters, named Field, Judith, Martha and Mary. He died on August 17th, 1757 in Albemarle Co., VA.-
