Cary Hurt 
Cary was born about 1774 in Amelia Co., VA. Cary's father was William Hurt and his mother was Caroline Anderson. His paternal grandparents were James Hurt and Hannah ?. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Anderson, John, Sally, Matilda, Lovina, Mary, Hannah and Jenny. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died after October 24th, 1799 in Amelia Co., VA.-
