Lewis Thomas was born on July 23rd, 1933. Lewis Thomas' father was James Garfield Hope and his mother was Sarah Lucy Richardson. His maternal grandparents were James Allen Richardson and Margaret Maria Jackson Crutchfield. He had a brother and a sister, named James Ray and Living. He died at the age of 38 on June 3rd, 1972.-
