John Holman 
John was born about 1812. John's father was Henry Bowles Holman and his mother was Elizabeth Duval. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Holman and Ann Winn; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Duval and Elizabeth Sheppard. He had a brother and five sisters, named William Jackson, Nancy E., Elizabeth, Susannah Duval, Harriet and Sarah Jane. He was the second youngest of the seven children.-
