John Holland 
John was born on June 16th, 1735 in St. James Northum Parish, Goochland Co., Virginia. John's father was John Holland and his mother was Martha Weeks. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Holland and Mary ?; his maternal grandparents were Hobbs Weeks and Mary Parrott. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Hezekiah, Nathaniel, Judith, Martha, Alice and Lucy. He was the oldest of the seven children.-
