Catherine was born in 1776 in Louisa Co., Virginia. Catherine's father was Hezekiah Holland and her mother was Mary Walker. Her paternal grandparents were John Holland and Martha Weeks. She had six brothers and four sisters, named John, Hezikiah, Michael, Richard, Major, Shandry H., Sarah, Rachel, Dorothy and Margaret. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.-
