William Mortimer was born on January 2nd, 1892. William Mortimer's father was Thomas Randolph Harrison and his mother was Gertrude Strachan. His paternal grandparents were William Mortimer Harrison and Caroline Rivers Lambert; his maternal grandparents were John Alexander Strachan and Emily Ann Adkins. He had a sister named Emily Randolph. He was the younger of the two children.-
