William Edward Haden 
William Edward was born on September 18th, 1831 in Fluvanna Co., Virginia. William Edward's father was William Douglas Haden and his mother was Elizabeth Davis. His paternal grandparents were William Haden and Martha Jones. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Socrates, John Richard, Overton Davis, Joel, James Nicholas, Eldridge George, Martha Kaziah, Infant, Sallie Ann, Bettie Douglas and Mary Jane. He was the third oldest of the twelve children.-
