William Gooch

William was born in 1580 in England.  William's father was William Gooch and his mother was Martha Layer.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Gooch and Bridget ?; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Layer and Barbara Steward.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 105 in 1685.
