Katherine was born in 1687 in Goochland Co., VA. Katherine's father was Thomas Farrar and her mother was Katherine Perrin. Her paternal grandparents were William Farrar and Mary Piggot; her maternal grandparents were Richard Perrin and Katherine Royall. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Joseph, Perrin, William, Martha, Mary and Sarah.-
