John Farrar 
John was born about 1738 in Chesterfield Co., VA. John's father was George Farrar and his mother was Judith Jefferson. His paternal grandparents were William Farrar and Priscilla Baugh; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson and Mary Field. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Field, Thomas, George, Peter, Mary and Priscilla. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died about 1808 in Wake Co., NC.-
