Eleanor Parke's father was John Parke Custis and her mother was Eleanor Calvert. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Parke Custis and Martha Dandridge; her maternal grandparents were Benedict Swingate and Elizabeth Calvert. She had a brother and two sisters, named George Washington Parke, Elizabeth Parke and Martha Parke.-
