Catherine Key was born on April 5th, 1811 in Virginia. Catherine Key's father was Jesse Curd and her mother was Jane Ellis. Her maternal grandparents were John Ellis and Susannah Duval. She had eight brothers and nine sisters, named James, John, Jesse, Jesse, John James, Obadiah Ellis, William Joseph, Benjamin Smith, Infant, Mary Graves, Susanna DuVal, Nancy, Jane, Jane Ellis, Ann Elizabeth, Sarah Price and ?. She died at the age of 37 in 1848.-
