John Chilton 
John was born on April 14th, 1762. John's father was Charles Chilton and his mother was Elizabeth Blackwell. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Chilton and Jemima Cooke; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Blackwell and Lucy Steptoe. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Charles, Thomas, Stephen, Blackwell, Mark Anthony, Lucy Steptoe, Jemima and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the ten children.-
