Philadelphia Claiborne was born about 1775. Philadelphia Claiborne's father was John Chew and her mother was Ann Fox. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Fox and Philadelphia Claiborne. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Beverley, John, Claiborne, Robert, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann Fox, Caroline Matilda and Lucy. She died in 1852.-
